Ofsted Readiness

When Ofsted calls, you’ll be ready.

Inspection Readiness, Self Evaluation Form and four preparation tools (learning walks, case samples, conversations, work scrutinies) aligned to the November 2025 Achieve, Belong, Thrive framework.

Ofsted Readiness dashboard inside AiVII
What it does

Eight features. One inspection-ready story.

Self-evaluation, four preparation tools, framework alignment and the safeguarding status tile, all on one dashboard.

Inspection Readiness donut

Overall completion %, areas at or above standard, areas below. The single chart that tells you where you are and where you’re not yet.

Self Evaluation Form (SEF)

Build your SEF by selecting current and target outcomes, answering probing questions and providing evidence. Status (draft / in review / approved) and academic year tracked.

Learning Walks

Schedule, attend and evidence learning walks against the Achieve, Belong, Thrive principles. Captured in the Quality Reviews module workflow.

Case Samples

Replicate Ofsted’s case sampling: review learners with additional needs, disadvantaged learners, those needing additional support. Compare against learners without those needs.

Conversations

Inspector-style conversations with learners and employers. Captured, evidenced and tagged to the framework.

Work Scrutinies

Sample and review learner work against the standard. Findings feed into both Quality Reviews and the SEF.

Achieve, Belong, Thrive alignment

The November 2025 framework principles built in throughout. Every walk, sample, conversation and scrutiny tags to one or more principles.

Safeguarding status

Met / Not Met binary indicator on the readiness page — the framework’s pass/fail line surfaced as a single tile.

Framework alignment

Aligned to the November 2025 framework.

Every walk, sample, conversation, scrutiny and piece of evidence tags to one of the seven Ofsted evaluation areas.

Year-round

Readiness, not last-minute panic.

01

Prepare

Regular learning walks, case samples and conversations keep your team sharp and your evidence current — not just before an inspection.

02

Evidence

Maintain a living evidence library tagged to EIF areas. Find what you need in seconds when the call comes.

03

Improve

Track QIP progress and demonstrate genuine improvement over time. Show inspectors a story, not a snapshot.

When Ofsted called, we were genuinely ready. The evidence was organised, our staff knew what to expect, and we could demonstrate real improvement.
